I think that is "just you", there, Phil. <g>

"Mark II" is the semi-official factory designation for the 1968 model year
cars, with the big turnover point being the 4-synchro transmission and its
associated changes (tunnel structure, starter, etc.). The smog and crash
stuff was for the US market only, remember.

The other distinctions are purely subjective, and I do basically agree that
those are the significant variants.
