Wet with what? Wet with gas would indicate a bad plug or plug wire. Wet with
oil would indicate a bad set of rings or a worn valve guide. A comprehensive
compression test would indicate which.

Black and wet indicates to me that the most likely cause is a bad spark 
plug. Try switching plugs around and see if the problem follows the plug. 
Or it could be the cap. Or maybe the plug wire. You could also try a 
compression check to make sure compression is good on all cylinders.

The list is not moderated in the sense that posts have to be approved. But
