I haven't noticed any spam from the MG list. Actually I no longer get much
spam but that is mostly because my Internet service provider offers us a
filter through postini that gets rid of most spam before it makes it to my
mail.

I did use Eudora's filters for a while to filter messages using certain
keywords. I also have a filter that takes all my MG list email and puts it
in a "MG" mailbox so it is all together. In Eudora, under their filters I
have set to search for mgs@autox.team.net under <<Any headers>> Or <<Any
recipients>> and direct it to my MG mailbox. I also have several other
filters that look at the subject line for keywords (money, montage, viagra)
and send them straight to the trash bin but they were only partially
effective. Perhaps the trick may just to be to set up individual mailboxes
and filter legitimate email to them and leave the inbox to trap the spam.
However, whether you do that or use a service like postini, you still have
to occasionally sort through the 90%+ spam to get out legitimate messages.

I have had this same email address for almost ten years now and since I run
an Internet-based software company, I am sure that I am on just about every
spam list there is. And I get roughly 50-150 spam email messages a day,
almost all captured by postini.
