Monte, et al.,

Time for a public apology. This is still off topic, but here goes...

I stridently wrote:

>As a fellow Missourian, I can guarantee you that the tow dolly is titled,
licensed, and taxed as a trailer, which, of course, is what it is. Titling
the dolly is quite easy unless someone has lost the title. In Missouri,
you'll pay county property tax on the dolly, but it is exempt from motor
vehicle inspection.>

I went to the license bureau today to re-tag my fleet (3) of utility
trailers (late, of course, but no penalties in Missouri). Imagine my
surprise when they informed me that they no longer license tow dollies in
the sovereign state of Missourah! I guess that guarantee is null and void.

"But," I protested, "I have a license plate on it that you issued to me."
"Sorry, pal, no longer required."

So I left, a little crestfallen, but $8.75 to the good.

Monte, I'll have that crow sautied, please.

Dejectedly,

David
