73 cbb roadster
went to the trouble of removing my trunk, er boot lid, and cleaning it, and
replaced the gasket. doesn't seem to fit so well - harder to close. i'm
guessing that's the difference in a new gasket and a pretty old one. i'm
thinking place some wieghts on the trunk lid for a few days to break it in?
had to adjust the latch up a bit to catch. am i supposed to stretch the
gasket to flatten it?
would like to replace the shift knob - it's kind of beat up. i would think
it should just unscrew? i hate to get extreme with it until i'm sure how it
comes off. any suggestions?
