Lyndsay Porter's 'Guide to Purchase and DIY Restoration of the MGB',
republished as 'The MGB Restoration Manual' has a very good description.
Tops *with* headers are available from some sources. One thing to be aware
of is that some replacements simply do not have enough width of material and
leave large gaps at the tops of the drop-glasses. The different frames have
different tops. Lift-the-dot fasteners are quite easy to install and allow
you to make sure they match up with your posts.
