Well I have been using Hagerty for three or four years. I have full
coverage on both 67BGT and 72B (insured for 5k and 10k). And I don't
recall what I pay per year but its somewhere around $150 total. You can
check their website to get more details on what they provide and the
restrictions (no mileage restriction but car should be garaged, need to
have regular insured "daily" driver) - www.hagerty.com

Subject: Classic Auto Insurance

I am aware this topic has been exhaustively debated on here but as usual
since I was not interested at the time I neglected to pay close
attention. Now that my classic auto insurance is due for renewal I am
looking for the best deal. I have been with Great American Life for 15
years but the rates have inched up over the years and my bill for next
year will be $250, where at one time it was just over $100. I have my 80
MGBLE and 64 B on the policy with low values ($7K and $6K respectively)
to save a few bucks. There is a 3000 mile limit per vehicle per year and
there is no collision provision, just liability. In other words all I
have is the coverage mandated by Rhode Island law so I am in compliance.
Does anyone know of other companies offering better rates?
