.... from the MG-Rover.org people... (if you are there - or want to be
there "in spirit")...

MG and Rover enthusiasts Rally to the cause

Together with our friends across the 'net at XpowerForums, we're
planning a convoy and 'demonstration' in support of the company and its
6,000 workers at Longbridge on Monday. If you wish to join the convoy,
they're meeting up at Jct 2 of the M42 at midday. If you can't make
that, just come straight to the factory. Parking arrangements are yet to
be confirmed, but likely to be either ideally, on the grass bank
opposite Q gate or in the park car park. Check
the website for the latest information.

If you can come tomorrow (I appreciate its rather short notice), then
please do come along to show your support for MG Rover. We cannot let
this last British volume manufacturer of British cars simply die, we
have to show this Government that people do care about MG Rover and do
want it to continue. We got so close to actually turning the corner with
the arrival of new metal shortly and it would be criminal if they
weren't given one last chance to prove
that MG Rover is viable at Longbridge, which I have do doubt, with the
new cars, it would be.

Please show up and show your support for the company and its employees
on Monday. If you plan to attend, please add your name to this list...
