Just finished a 12 hour Oddessy changing the rings in pistons 2,3,4,5 in my
MGC without pulling the engine out of the car. Went pretty well until the end
when 2 quarts of oil came pouring out of the oil canister cause it didn't seal
right )-; Could have changed 1 and 6 as well but they were fine. Engine only
has 31,000 original miles and sat for 29 years. can't wait to drive her steady
now (-;
Car doesn't smoke and runs great!
Used an engine lift and 2 good buddies to get it done.
