fuel pumps

My 1600 MGA project came with a working Purolator Pro 12S electronic fuel
pump. Can't find it's pressure rating on the net. Presume it's the low
pressure model for imports. Can anyone verify it can be used without a
regulator?

Also, can it be hooked up in series as a separate switch back up for the stock
SU pump?
