The wire is yellow in colour. It originates from the
right-hand wiper/washer steering column stalk and ends
up in "malfunction junction" over on the right side of
the engine bay. Just extend the yellow wire down to
the 3rd/4th gear lockout switch on the transmission,
then on to the solenoid. O/D is a wonderful thing to
have.
