I'm having a problem getting my 75 B to start. Over the past month or two
it was a bit intermittent, in that it would take a few turns of the engine
before it started, but yesterday it took much longer but finally did start -
once started it runs fine - no misses. Today it would not start at all.
With what I had with me I checked to see if the coil, Lucas Sports Coil with
the ballast bypassed, was getting something to the distributor. That was
fine. But I didn't have a voltmeter to test anything else, battery, plugs,
etc. I'm thinking the battery might be the culprit - enough to get the
starter turning and the coil sparking but not enough for the full energy
needed for adequate spark. Does anyone have additional suggestions as to
what I might look at? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Sean T.
