As for sources of new/reconditioned shocks, I think the consensus is that  
WorldWide in Wisconsin does a great job at a reasonable cost.  My personal  
experience has been great with their products.  However, I can't find the
link.  
Maybe someone else can help out.  Don't be tempted to put tubes  on the
front.
