Glove Box Question

Hi,

In the scale of things this is small, but maybe someone on the list has
dealt with it...

My glovebox door on my '74 1/2 won't shut.  No matter what I do.

The latch in the dash is tight.

The latch on the door is a bit loose.  You can't tighten it though becuase
it's rivetted to the door.

Anyone fix this problem before?
