Hello all,

I have a new Heritage fuel tank that I'm about to prepare and I have a
couple of questions. The tank has a bit of surface rust on the inside
- is this going to pose a problem? I plan to clean with Simple Green,
then etch and seal using the Moss products. The instructions mention
using a chain to knock loose rust away, but I think this would be more
likely to damage the internal screen than remove much rust.

Secondly, I would like to add a drain plug. On the old tank the drain
plug (if memory serves) is located in the center of the bottom surface
of the tank inside the small circular area. Looking through the
sending unit hole on the new tank, I see that this is where the pickup
and screen are located. Where is the most correct location to fit the
drain plug?

Thanks for any advice,

Dan
