Gang,
I just recently learned that Case International tractors used the diesel
version of the BMC motor and they still are in production in India for the
Hindustan Ambassador sedan - based on the 1955 Morris Oxford Series II!!!!!!

It indeed does ues the original B series 1500cc block - The same diesel version
was used by Westerbeak in their marine applications .....................
Hindustan also offers the 1600cc OHC, gas and the 200cc diesel Isusu engines
that were in US market in the early 1980s.

The former isn't the first time that International had a contract with BMC -
Does anyone out there rememner the IH Metro Mite, a sliding-door step van about
the same size as a VW microbus, only taller - They used Austin/Nash
Metropolitan tune 1500s engine in those - They came from the factory painted IH
orange!!!!

More detail to befuddle your minds...............
