I too love road trips. Tomorrow I'm heading out on a 2,000 mile trip from
southwestern Ontario to New Brunswick in my GT, shall be fun!

I love long road trips (not that they are really possible in the UK,
nothing is that far away), they journey is often as good as the
destination, as long as you are under no time pressure.
