Yeah, I've been working those angles. Last year this time, I replaced  
the alternator. It seems good. (Volt meter looks good).

I've gone through the wires for the headlights and turn signals, which  
have been the source of the symptoms. I can't find anything
wrong with them.

I've thought for a few years that I'd like to put in relays for the  
headlights. I know that is a side issue, but this may be the nudge that
gets me to act on it.


After cleaning up last night, after putting in the new positive  
battery cable. I realized that in my haste to have plenty of cable at
the battery, I may have made the cable too tight at the starter end. I  
think I need to go back under the car and shift the cable forward
two or three inches.
