The standard Mopar V8 is 325bhp which is probably too much for an 
MGB................and the front end weight would be very awkward. 
The V8 is around 550lbs WOW!  You could easily get 325 out of the 
Rover (the Aussies do 1,000bhp) and weight distribution is not compromised.
