Jack said, "It was on my local ABC channel today. It may be just a regional
thing."

Yes, it was on ABC here too - 1.5 hours of a 12 hour race.  That's like a
USA Today state story - 30 words or less on a big story in your state.  And,
too many of us were at church or doing other things to catch that short
synopsis for which we all knew the outcome.

Back in the '90s, the 12-Hour was a big deal here in Florida.  I guess with
so many people leaving the state, it is less important now.
