I watched a friend of mine use 3M's Finesse on his sister-in-law's
Saturn to great immediate effect. It's what I used on my B for the final
color polish before the first waxing after the paint went down. My
friend didn't use anything BUT Finesse and it seemed to take a while but
the result looked great. Crystal clear. And the lens was totally
yellowed. Haven't seen the car in a year and a half.

I used the Meguiar's system on my wife's Ranger about a year ago also
to great effect and see a little noticeable degradation at the top. I
would think that either system is about equal as far as polishing is
concerned. I would suggest a good coat of wax over whatever you use and
keep it up whenever you wax the car. We don't pay much attention to the
Ranger. Kind of like the Honda - just drive it. You should be good with
whatever you use, but keep up on the after-care since the original
factory finish is gone. Wax works wonders.
