I don=E2=80=99t think there is anything wrong with tube shock =
conversions, but I wouldn=E2=80=99t expect any massive improvement, =
either.

New shocks will seem an improvement over old shocks, either way.

I went with a telescopic shock conversion 25 years ago, but that was =
because it was half the cost of new Armstrong dampers. I do not believe =
that is the case at present. My new project is getting lever shocks as =
Abingdon intended.
