I followed his advice and this morning the car started up without starter f=
luid!!!!!

You didn't say, but if it has been stored for several months without drivin=
g, stale fuel can do exactly that.  Solution is to dirve it until it is nea=
r emty, then refill, or drain it and refill with fresh fuel.
