Hello,
Have just come on line and am in process of learning what is available on
Morgans as I am in the process of restoring a '53 +4 Flat Rad, color (wife
wants British Racing Green - whatever that is). Need list of suppilers (have
Melvin Reuter and Moss Motors) and Clubs to chase parts. My greatest need at
present is a front brake drum and a radiator or chrome cowl as the cowl I
have is pretty well dinged up.
Currently, with the help of a BMC enthusist, we have gone down to the frame,
which was cleaned and powder coated, re-fabricated the wood frame and
reattached the skin (which was in good shape) rebuilt the brakes and front
end. We are in process of reattaching the body. However, when we look at
the doors (which need the wood replaced) we have run short of good ideas how
to disassemble them without ruining good skins. Ideas or expierences would
be appreciated.
