Hi Folks,

Thanks to all who responded to my query re: chrome moulding strips for
the four side curtains of a +4 flat rad four seater. The best advice
seems to be to use MG TC strips which are available from MG aftermarket
suppliers. These strips are polished stainless steel so should last
forever.

Many respondents were not familiar with early +4 side curtains, so there
were some suggestions that missed the mark. Early +4 side curtains have
an steel framework on the car side of the curtain. Four chrome strips
on the outside fastened through to the frame, hold on the curtain
material itself. The curtain material is clear plastic flexible window
material sandwiched between vinyl top material. The chrome strips hold
tee headed bolts which fasten through the frame.

Regards,
Tony
