There are at least two different fuel gauges. My 63 +4 has an "F" series
sending unit but a later style straight indicator needle fuel gauge. It's a
combo that does not work. As I understand things, the proper gauge for my
car, with the arrowhead pointer is a very different electrial design from the
later style gauge.
As to getting your gauge to work with the fuel cell sender, I don't have a
clue.
