Greg, You had asked about the heat treating process and hardness that I was able to achieve with the 62 SS spindles. I am reasonabley certain that we got Rockwell 22 BUT when I went to the same treater today to pick up my 4/4 spindles he advise me that they would not harden. He said they are just mild steel and there is nothing he can do with them. Guess I`ll look into something better but has anyone ever had problems with spindle breakage on the 4/4 with racing tyres.
