I have a 69 plus 8 with probably the same distributor. The Pertronix Ignitor
LU-181 will work. I have run it since 1997 and purchased it from CBS
Performance Auto in Colorado. They were at 719-632-1492 or 1-800-685-1492.
Mallory also makes several systems for these engines, (Buick, Olds, Pontiac
215) as well as Range Rover. There are also some GM electronic systems that
will interchage. The Pertronix is cheap and reliable, a good choice.
