As I recall my 1600 x flow in my 4/4 would easily go to the 6000 rpm redline 
and was happy to cruise at virtually any speed needed to stay with traffic.  
Keep in mind this is a relatively modern (even in the Morgan world) short 
stroke engine that could be tuned by Cosworth to go much more with the right 
stuff.  Certainley an oil cooler given a hot climate would not be a bad 
thing.  I would think that maintaining 70 or 75 would not be a problem.   
None of that Petter tractor stuff here.
