Well, my new Shorrocks showed up Wednesday, with an unfortunate shortage in
the shipment. No crankshaft pulley. None available. What I need is a two
groove pulley with an 89mm(3 1/2 inch) second groove. I can go get one
custom made, but it occurred to me that between the Datsun A-series clones
and the other BMC four and six cylinder engines, I might be able to swap
another crank pulley onto the crankshaft. The pulley on the charger is
pretty standard, and I can play games with it to accommodate slight
differences in spacing and diameter.
So how about it? Anyone aware of a two or three groove pulley that can fit
on an inline 948cc A-series motor?
