Hi Greg,

I too am a new member but I can tell you this seems to be a pretty
friendly group. As far as where to have your car serviced, I use British
European Motors on Redwood Dr. in Cotati (or is it Rohnert Park?). They're
not cheap, but I don't know any place that is. And you know the old saying,
"you get what you pay for." Just yesterday I had them do a safety
inspection of a 1960 MGA 1600 I was just about ready to buy. Turns out the
car wasn't at all what it appeared to be and they steered me away from it no
doubt saving me thousands of dollars in unexpected repairs.

I've also used Tri-Star on Dowd Dr. in Santa Rosa a few times for
minor stuff and have been happy with them as well.

Hi folks,

I'm a relatively new member and look forward to participating in one of
the rides soon. Prior to doing so, I'd like to get my car checked out for
any deferred maintenance issues, etc. so that it is safe to drive and
dependable (as dependable as a vehicle with Lucas electrics can be!) Is
there anyone in the Santa Rosa area that is known by the team to do quality
work at fair prices? If so, I would really appreciate being pointed in
their direction.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

  Greg
