Folks,

Thanks a for the responses. Here's more info.

I will try to get picture scanned. The truck is a typical original, IOW it
needs the things any 41 yr old vehicle that was driven until 5 years ago
needs. It is complete exept the wiper motor. Even the bed wood is original.
Main wiring harness needs replacing. I had planned to take it down and
re-do it since everything is there. But now I can't.

The truck was driven here (MD) from CA. It sat in barn for 5 years. I
bought it two years ago for (surprise, $1800). I rebuilt the carb, put
points, plugs and brake fluid in it, rigged a temp fuel source, installed a
battery and it started right up. I changed the oil and have driven it around
the neighborhood but it has no tags. Wouldn't say I'd put it on the road
without redoing it, i.e. clutch brakes, wiring, etc. etc. Oh yeah, and the
radiator leaks. The 283 V8 runs good.

The body is very solid. Hasn't been in the east long enough to be eaten by
salt. Has a little rust in the door bottoms, rockers and running boards
but that's normal. I have new cab corners, and rockers for it. Also have
another windshield as the original is clouding up in the corners. Somebody
painted the body with a brush but that's also not unusual for an old pick
up. The metal is still good and that's probably why.

The truck is located in Round Hill VA. That's about 40 min. west of Dulles
airport in Northern VA.

If still interested let me know directly. I'll send tele #. Please put the
number 58 in the subject of your reply to: a234@erols.com.
