Tom:

I was thinking that you once sent me the E-mail list address for these old AD
Trucks? I have a technical question I need help on. Could you send it to me if
you have it?

As I have told you before, my friend has a 54 GMC Five window also. I have
been doing some welding on the floor panels, innner and outer cowl panels,
etc.. There is a noticable difference in these 54's. One, is that his truck
has a open drive line, a regular drive shaft, mine has a Torque Tube. The
books show that the "First Series" 55 has a open drive shaft. Also, on the
floor pan center inspection hole or cover, my truck it is open only to the
edge of the toe board, his the opening runs about 6 or 8 inches up the toe
board. I'm thinking that it is either a cab for a "COE" or is truly a 55,
maybe it is a stolen truck with a bogus 54 title, or it is just a latter 54. I
don't know. Is the cabs the same on the COE and the 2 tons?
