I bought a used door and received it yesterday but it lacks something. The
existing door has what appears to be a trim ring (metal, not chrome or ss)
around the outside of the window opening that appears to be spot welded in.
The new (old) door does not have this ring but the opening does not look
like it was damaged in anyway such as would be the case if something was
spot welded to it and was removed.
Is that trim aroung the window actually spotwelded or is it screwed in? I
cannot see any tell tale signs of srews or other type of fastener other
than a spot weld on the existing door.
