Carl, you sound like my kind of guy. I hope to get a 1950-54 GMC 5 window GMC,
and lavish all the love and attention on it it deserves! I'm glad that there
are at least two of us. Although I hadn't thought of the increased power
demand. Pwr dr locks and windows. I have that on my 2000 Camry, with a
security system, and outside thermometer. And that's on a base CE model! I had
to fight to get a manual transmission. But I will probably have a 700R4 on the
GMC. With a 292 or 302. Why? I guess maybe because you can, and before too
long I won't be able to use toys! (I'm 64, going on 25!). Interesting to hear
abt the Buick seat, but I can probably adjust the headrests myself, because NO
