If you are looking for stainless for your '53, be advised trim from 47-50
will NOT fit and visa versa. 47-50-no vent windows, 51-55-with vent
windows.
The stainless pieces are different.

hey Craig,by comparing my painted steel 53 inside window trim , it wasn't
very hard to make the appropriate cut into a 47-50 stainless window trim to
make room for the ventwing handle.i used a dremil cut off wheel.and a file to
clean it up before sanding and polishing. no one has ever noticed...the
trick to making old stainless look good again was to fine sandpaper all the
nicks out before you polish and it looks great....the outside widow trims are
the same as i put an earlier stainless one as well...Steve
