those old carbs do not have a filter between the pump and the carb-they are very sensitive and will exhibit those symptoms if a little piece of something gets stuck between the needle/seat. popping the hood and banging on the carb will fix enough to get you home but get a filter in there now and then clean your carb(pull and flush) mark http://pweb.jps.net/~woodson http://home.infostations.net/ccpanel/projects/ ... oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
