Ouch!

An acquaintance of mine is talking about building a garage using $400 worth
of PVC pipe and canvas.  I keep thinking that on a nice day that will keep
the weather off his truck, but what happens if we get two feet of snow
(happened in '97) or 70 mph winds (happened in '93) or an ice storm
(1991)...

Excuse that this isn't my '55 ... but it puts a hamper on that project for
a while as I must put my energies into my other truck. We had a serious
downpour last night, and my soft tonneau cover collapsed under the weight.
What a mess.
