The sending unit that came with my Dolphin gauges had to be sized.  You 
just measure the depth of your tank and size the sending unit 
accordingly.  My tank is 12 inches deep, so I cut and adjusted the 
sending unit to hang down at 12 inches ... 90-degrees ("tank half 
full") at 6 inches.
