GMC Master Parts Book 1955.2-58 shows same part number (3703563) spindle
(they call it a steering knuckle) for model 150,250 and SOME 300 (3/4, 1
and SOME 1.5 ton using F025, F035 and F040 front axles) trucks and a
different number (3703565) spindle for OTHER model 300 (1.5 ton using
F045 front axles). The F040 was standard on 55.2-58 6 cylinder models
and 56-58 8 cylinder models 300-304 and the F045 was optional. The 55.2
8 cylinder had a "GM 1.5 ton" front axle. Other (than 301-304) 1.5 ton
models got real specialized and have mostly F047 front axles with the
same spindles as used on the F045 axle.

I have no idea how much of this applies to Chevy trucks.

im looking for someone with a 3/4t or 1t truck to get me some dimension.
everyone wants 8lug disc and ive got tons of time and a creative mind so
ive decided to tackle it. if i can get spindle dimensions, inside of hub
dimensions... bolt pattern... etc. im gonna try and figure out what we
need to make a disc setup for our trucks.

also-can anyone tell me if 3/4t AD and TF are the same spindle?
and is the 1.5t the same as 3/4t axles? i knwo 2t is different. mark
