I just went to a local alternator shop and told them what I wanted:
A Delco 12si, with the Delco internal regulator.
Easy as pie.
PS - Google "Delco 12si alternator" and you'll see it on eBay
Also, go to http://ACDelco.com and type in your zip code to find a
supplier near you.
Just *ask* and make sure the one you get has the Delco internal
regulator.
