Yep, that seems to be the standard method. However, my Gorton mill
isn't flat on the bottom. It has little cast-in feet at the corners,
about an inch high, perfect for lousing up easy rolling. I had thought
about jacking it up and bolting some angle iron or something under
there, but it was easier just to rent the pallet jack.
