George-
First - apologies for late response- I'm catching up on e-mail today.
I have a garage which (except for concrete blocks instead of bricks) has
construction similar to yours. Here's what I did to fight the moisture
problem:
First I installed soffit vents in the eaves to improve potential ventilation,
then
I installed a roof-top electric ventilator with humidistat and thermostat -
you can set these to make the fan come on whenever humidity goes above
whatever you set it for AND whenever temp. goes above whatever you set it
for-
keeps things cooler in the summer as well as drier year-round and total
cost was way under $100
Hope this helps
Cheers !
