Welding Question

Years ago, there was a fellow at a local repair shop, who used
to charm his female customers by saying "We can fix anything,
except Broken Hearts" and "We can weld anything from the Crack
of Dawn to the <blank>".

Unfortunately, I don't remember what <blank> was, but it is
probably an old saying among welders.

Anybody able to fill-in the <blank>?
