Three suggestions to be tried in sequence -
1. passenger with smaller feet
2. big hammer
3. bigger hammer.

On related subject have you ever noticed that even in the sophisticated
world of real pro racing every team has at least one REALLY BIG
mechanic. There are times when high tech fails.
