Guys,

Thanks for suggesting all those different suppliers. I got a number of
replies (thanks guys); everyone seemed happy with their choice, so it looks
like there are a lot of alternatives. The recommendations were for (in no
specific order):

        Griot's Garage (800-345-5789)
Benjamin Moore look 'em up in the phone book
Sears concrete stain go to the mall..
        Griggs Paint Hydropox #2 www.griggspaint.com
Ameron Amerlock I found a bunch of suppliers on the web

But in the end, I lucked out; the builder is going to hire someone to apply
an "industrial grade" finish to the floor. I'm guessing that hiring someone
to grind/resurface the floor would have been about as costly; I'm not
complaining at any rate!

Once the floor paint has hardened, I'm having them put some vinyl coving around
the edges of the floor. I'll probably hit the seam with some caulk after I move
in. I hope this will seal off the wall well enough from the floor so that I
can simply hose down the floor whenever I need to clean it out....

Thanks guys,
Mike
