I too have a Weller soldering gun that I bought in the early 50s and it's
still going strong today.  What a marvel.  The little light bulbs to light
the work don't work, but . . . .big deal.  Also, you can still buy new tips
for it, even after 45 years!!!  What a deal.  Can't go wrong, it would seem.
