Bob,
You might consider an Rmax or Thermax board.  Std 4' x 8', optional 4' x
12' sheets.  Thicknesses in multiples of 1/2".  Dense foam board, very
strong, very light, insulation factor, and standard facings of foil of
matte white.  Also self supporting, no sag between joists.
