Taller than the Foshay Tower in Minneapolis, eh?

BTW, I remember reading some years ago that the Kingdome was the only
stadium paying for itself. I suppose that's why they are tearing it down.

I'd like to see a federal law prohibiting the use of taxpayer money to prop
up sports teams. So far, our mayor has sold out to the NHL, but the voter
have prevented him from his plan to sell out to the Twins. The ball is back
in Minneapolis' court on that score. When the state starts building us
autocross lots, they can consider giving money to billionaire sports owners
and millionaire players.

Meanwhile, back in THIS mailing list: It was actually warmer in the garage
than in the shop today! Spring is nearly here in Minnesota. I did have to
use the garage. Found a Phillips-head screw in a tire on the Saturn. Good
job I got that road-hazard guarantee from Tire Plus. I'd rather trust them
with just the loose wheel (I even kept the center: the bozos wrecked two of
the centers for the Lotus wheels) than the whole car.
