Always seems bigger is better... =;^)  Luckily, I'm not likely to have someone
want to borrow it, as most of the people I know are all thumbs.  Of course,
that usually means I get asked to do it instead...

The explanation of the tool OEM'ing jives exactly with what I saw.  Am I right
in thinking that the Ridgid/Emerson line is better built than the comparable
Sears/Ryobi line?  Sorry about the urls not working; they were working for me.
The Sears item #'s are: 00922849 and 00922811.

And thanks for validating that oven cleaner is the right thing to use for
cleaning blades/bits.  I was worried that it might affect the temper/hardness
of them, given how caustic it seems to be, but I guess not!
